I was born in yorkshire on 31.01.1935,that makes me 73 years young.I was number 9 out of 10 children,we moved to b`ham when i was 2yrs,mom or dad never asked me if that was OK. I had 6 sieters & 3 brothers i was the youngest.I went to a catholic school 3 really the first one got bombed,my mom mved from the secon d school after i fractured my skull fighting the 3rd school was better i only broke my arm doing PE.Joined the REME in 1953 for 3 years.served in Korea,Japan & Egypt My army number was 22843397.my winter in Korea at a plce called Yongdongpo,where i helped to rebuild Jeeps.We all slept in tents,wooden box for our wardrobe!! My nickname was little Mo or brummie.I had 56 days in a place called 25FDB in Korea,any body remember it.I was stationed in Kure in Japan nice place good beer halls!!
